I took my truck here to have a performance muffler installed and wasn't exactly sure which one I wanted. Mr. Ripley had his guys hold up about 6 different mufflers to let me hear all the different options for my truck. After I decided which one I wanted they welded it on and I was out the door in about 20 minutes. Awesome people who truly care about their customers.

Went to Ripley's because of the positive reviews and was not disappointed. They fixed the problem quickly, saved me $500 compared to the dealership, gave me a ride to work, and used quality parts to repair my broken AC. Will definitely go back.

I just visited Ripley's at the corner of 1960 & Kuykendahl for brake service on my car. We have all heard about the horror stories when dealing with auto mechanic shops... I have nothing but good things to say about Ripley's muffler & brakes. They did a road test on my vehicle and gave me a good price on replacing the rear disc brakes on my Cadillac DTS. I feel I received a fair price and good service yelpers. Make a note of it, peace!

I came here on a friend's recommendation and am glad I did. I didn't even have to leave work to get my car taken care of. Since I work in the area I dropped off my car and they shuttled me to my office. I needed my brakes and shocks looked at and there were some minor repairs they made and even noticed that my blinkers needed new bulbs, as they were almost out, so they fixed those, as well. They picked me up later that afternoon and my car was ready!. They have the cutest muffler art and a friend of mine that has a modified muscle cars only comes to Ripley's for his custom exhaust work.

My truck started making a rattling sound and I was 95% sure it was coming from one of the catalytic converters. Since they are welded to the exhaust my only DIY option was to buy an entire Y pipe assembly if I wanted to do it myself. Went down to Ripley's just to see what they would charge. They were able to look at it right away and confirm what I thought was the problem. They cut out the bad cat, welded in a new, and I was out the door on my way pretty quick with no more rattle. Parts + Labor was still less than half what it would have cost me to DIY, plus saved me half an afternoon crawling under my truck getting all nasty and banging my head. Worth every penny!!! I haven't had to use Ripley's in probably 20 years. I'm glad they have stayed a top-notch business all this time!

Great guys who welded a broken oxygen sensor back on my 2001 BMW M5. Plan on using them for my muffler delete coming soon. The only muffler shop I will ever go to again! Don't even waste your time with those other ragtag muffler shops.

I had a 2006 GTO and I was looking for some muffler shops and prices.I always pass by the ripply shop on fm 1960. I wanted a good loud sound exhaust for my 06 gto but I'm on a budget,and so I happen to stop by for some quotes.they were so nice and honest .they installed 2 magnoflow ,replaced the resonator with a x pipe for just $587. Now my 06 gto sounds awesome and hell a loud ,I'm so please doing business with them ,THANKS GUYS, give up the good work

I've been here many times and they have always been very honest. I've taken my car for little things i would have to argue about with most shops and they will do it cheap no problem. They also have taken me to work when i need them too. If i take my car to any shop at all I take it here. This has been the only one I've ever had no worries about the quality of work and honesty.

It's nice not to have to worry about getting oversold.
