Friday October 19,2025 my parents vehicle (Mr. and Mrs. Jennings ) overheated forcing us to find a mechanic quickly. We were on our way to Galveston for a 14 day cruise and had to be on board at noon Saturday October 20. We arrived and they looked at it and assessed the problem and repair. Problem was they were closing in 30 minutes and did not work on the weekends. No way to repair the car, a 4 to 8 hour repair. Drew Anderson got the ok for us to leave the car there while on our cruise. We then needed a rental to still get to Galveston. Drew had all the info and phone numbers we needed to make arrangements. Problem was Enterprise was about to close and could not pick us up. Drew arranged for a mechanic (Thomas) to take us to the enterprise. We arrived with 8 minutes to spare. This was above and beyond and saved the day. They also communicated all charges and how we could pick up the car on the Saturday (November 1) when we got off the ship, even though they were closed on weekends. We will never forget this experience and will continue to repeat this to everyone to get the word out on the outstanding employees that Ripley's has at their Spring location.
Wow, that might just be the best review and endorsement of our business ever. This is what I love about being in the service business is to help people get through bad situations and making life easier. Looking outside the box sometimes is the best way. We are blessed with some great employees and customers and it warms my heart when it is noticed and appreciated. I hope the cruise was fun and relaxing.
