Came in because I thought another place scammed me on an alignment, and stated that to the man at the counter. Turns out I was wrong and it was a bad tire causing the pull. They easily could have charged me for an alignment and then been the hero by finding the tire issue also, but they didnt. They gave me honest service for 20 bucks when they could have made a couple hundred off of me. Refreshing to find an honest mechanic now days.

Very quick service & they found a collar that wasn't aligned. They tightened it up, called me back, & I was out of there! Very honest, reasonable price, and super quick service - Highly recommend!

My 2005 Hyundai Tuscan didn't pass inspection because I needed my catalytic converter replaced. I searched for a muffler place near me and showed up at Ripley's Muffler & Brakes on Kuykendahl/1960. My car was done in one day, price was fair and everyone was friendly. If needed, I would use and recommend this location.

What a comforting feeling to know there is an auto shop that I can trust not only to do a great job but too also charge me very fairly and stand behind their work! I have used Ripleys for all of our cars: for repairs, maintenance and even a few special features on the trucks. I refer all of my friends here because I know I can trust my friends will get the same great treatment that I get. With a 2001 I don't worry if something goes wrong because of the reliable friends I have at Ripleys !

Brought my week old challenger to Ripley's. My heart was breaking as they cut off the stock muffler. Rodney explained everything in detail that they would do. They were wonderful and let me listen to 4 different mufflers until I heard one I liked. Whole time there was less than 2 hours. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

love this place. its family owned and operated. i first came here to get work on my exhaust done a couple years ago and they did a great job. today im getting both front and rear brake pads exchanged and they were honest with me and told me i only needed my rear ones changed due to my front ones still being in good condition. i would def recommend this place if you're looking for good professional service!

I took my Diesel Ram to the dealer on I-45 at Spring for warranty work last week. They also looked at the front brakes and told me they had 2 mm of pads left, and needed to be replaced asap. I took my truck over Ripley's on FM 1960 for a second opinion. They told me I had 5mm on the front, or about 40% of the brake life and that I should come back in about 20,000 miles. They put the wheels back at no charge and said thanks. I'll be back when its time to replace my brakes.

30 years ago, I built a unique custom that needed an exhaust system. They did a great job and I never forgot it. Today, I brought my Tundra in for a custom dual exhaust and nothing has changed in 30 years. Quality customer service along with pride of workmanship is unfortunately a dying attribute today. Not at Ripley's! They took the time to address my expectations and met and exceeded those expectations at a reasonable price. True caring professionals!

My first Yelp review. If you have any exhaust/muffler needs come to Ripleys mufflers and brakes. Everyone who works here first and foremost will provide the absolute perfect customer service to you at all times. This is my third visit to them and they have worked with me to make sure I'm 100% satisfied with the exhaust job I'm paying for. Secondly the labor is very fairly priced. I have no complaints. The shop is clean as well, if you plan on being here for a few hours there's a wonderful tv and coffee as well as soda on the side for your convenience. Before they finished the job they asked me to come and take a look. Most places don't take the time to do that to you. I even brought up a few ideas for the exhaust I wanted and they went as far as to give me a pre quote and tell me it would be custom made but "we can do it" and that's important. You shouldn't have to go from shop to shop just trying to find a reliable team of mechanics and welder a to make the job possible for you. At Ripleys they can get it done. This review was fully written on my own merit and willpower without a single bit of influence from any one else.
