Example of Honest Auto Shop We're blessed to have an honest and skilled auto repair shop in our area - Ripley's Total Car Care, 2302 Cypress Creek Parkway 77068. I have used Ripley's Total Car Care for many years. This 60 year old family owned business truly treats their customers like family. Recently, I had the opportunity to experience how honest they are. I had taken my SUV into NTB on FM 2920 at Kuykendahl for rotation of my tires. The rotation was free, but they presented me with an unrequested estimate to replace the struts, shock absorber and wheel studs - for a total of $1,875. This was a surprise since I hadn't had any problems. I took my car to Ripley's to check out the struts, etc. --- There was nothing wrong with anything! Ripley's did not even charge me for checking the supposed "needed replacements"!... So thankful for mechanics who are honest! Karen Spencer

Brought in an older car to get the a/c working and a window motor replaced. They called to discuss alternatives and to point out a failed rear shock I wasn't aware of, which I really appreciated. Never felt they were trying to upsell me, just bring up things they felt needed attention. I okayed the work at a fair price and the car was ready to pick up next day. Felt I was in very good hands and will definitely be back in the future. I definitely recommend Ripley's!

I had my brake rotors and pads replaced last Friday, and I waited in the lobby while the work was done. As customers came and went, I couldnt help but listen to the conversations about everyone being happy, well-treated, and respected throughout the morning. My brakes were quickly and professionally completed, and I felt treated the same, respected, and well-treated. I did learn Ripley's does much more than brake and mufflers including a full line of service and inspection while working on the vehicles. I've known the Ripley family for many years so listening to the transactions confirmed how and why they have been in business for 50 years. Great work Ripley Family and Team.
